About Roots Primary School

Our Programs

Early Learning Program

The Early Learning program at Roots Primary School offers education and care to ages 2.5 years through age 5. We have two classrooms with small class sizes set at a maximum of 15 students.

Enrollment opportunities to fit every schedule! Our Early Learning Program is open from 8am to 6pm. Please click the “Tuition” button below for more information.

Young Preschool: Ages 2.5 years through age 3.

This classroom focuses on social emotional development, independence, learning to be in a group, and learning to care for others around them. In this class, we begin teaching beginning letter concepts and sounds. We begin introducing skills necessary to becoming a successful student in a classroom.

Kindergarten Readiness: Age 4 before September 1st.

The Kindergarten Readiness program at RPS is designed to prepare our early learners for a classroom experience. This class focuses on what it looks like to be a student, how we manage big emotions, caring for ourselves and others, rules and routines in a classroom, and lastly, fun! Students in this class are scaffolding on their previous knowledge of letter concepts and sounds, and building into increased phonemic and phonetic awareness, beginning math concepts, increased problem solving skills, and all around student conduct. Students graduating from the Kindergarten Readiness at RPS will be well prepared to enter a Kindergarten classroom.
